Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis has reportedly agreed a move to MLS side Atlanta United - but the move has yet to be rubber stamped by the Scottish champions.
The Greek frontman has appeared destined for a January exit after Record Sport revealed that talks over a new Celtic contract has collapsed, with reports suggesting the 28-year-old was on the radar of the likes of Sampdoria and Real Valladolid this month.
However, a bumper contract offer from Urawa Red Diamonds had appeared to have convinced the striker over a move to Japan - with the striker set to double his current salary in the J-League.
But a report in Giakoumakis' homeland now suggests that move Stateside is the preferred destination of last season's top scorer in the Scottish Premiership.
