Re-runs of historic Gino D’Acampo shows have been taken off the ITV schedule after claims of inappropriate behaviour made against the television presenter and chef.
The 48-year-old Italian presenter has been accused of “dozens” of allegations of misconduct over more than a decade. His actions have been described as “unacceptable” and “distressing” by those making allegations, an ITV News investigation has claimed.
Mr D’Acampo has “firmly denied” the allegations in a statement to ITV, saying they were “simply not in my nature” and describing them as “deeply upsetting”.
Following the claims, PA news agency understands that repeat showings of TV contest Family Fortunes presented by Mr D’Acampo will not be broadcast again – including an episode of the show at 7pm on ITV2 and another episode on Monday at the same time.
