Gina Carano has said hit out after being dropped from her role as Cara Dune on The Mandalorian. The Haywire star, 38, was dropped from the Star Wars series following offensive posts on social media.

Carano had shared a TikTok post that compared recent US political divides to the treatment of the Jewish community by Nazi soldiers, which she later deleted.

This, along with her other previous controversial social media posts about face masks, vaccines and the coronavirus pandemic, unverified claims of election fraud and comments about gender pronouns, had prompted a hashtag #FireGinaCarano to trend on Twitter.
