Gigi Hadid has hit out at Kanye West following his controversial YZY Paris Fashion Week show on 3 October, which saw models walk the catwalk wearing clothes emblazoned with the slogan ‘White Lives Matter.’ Kanye, 45, arrived at the show wearing a black sweatshirt with the slogan written across the back, with an image of Pope John Paul II printed on the front.
He was also joined by far-right commentator Candace Owens, who sported a white sweatshirt with the same slogan plastered across.
Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, a stylist and global Vogue contributing editor, branded the merchandise "indefensible" and "dangerous", and Kanye responded by lashing out at her in a series of Instagram posts.
Supermodel Gigi, 27, who is good friends with Gabriella, was quick to comment on one of his posts and brand the rapper a "joke" and a "bully".
