Giant inflatable multi-coloured bubbles have invaded Victoria Square as week two of Bolton’s Put Big Light On Festival gets underway.
After the success of last weekend’s centrepiece installation Borealis, a northern lights recreation above the town hall which attracted thousands of visitors, the main attraction currently is Evanescent.
The piece is a multi-award-winning artwork that has been exhibited in 24 different cities in 18 different countries with people able to walk under the bubbles and experience the changing colours and associated soundscape.
Alongside Evanescent, at various locations across the town centre, there are installations such as Our Spectral Vision, Aqualux, Peep Hole Wall and Sound Intervention Projector Bikes will be ready to wow visitors.
