Apple has launched new tablets, including a revamped iPad Air and an all-new iPad Pro, available in stores across the UK.The iPad Air now boasts a more powerful M2 chip, increased standard storage, new colours, improved connectivity, and extended battery life.
For the first time, this tablet comes in two sizes: a standard 11-inch display and a larger 13-inch panel. The Pro range has also received a significant upgrade, with the 2024 models featuring a super slim design, an enhanced OLED screen that's brighter, and a lightning-fast M4 processor, making these tablets faster than most PC laptops, reports the Mirror.
The Air starts at £599, while the upgraded Pro begins at £999. If these prices seem steep, it's worth noting that some of the UK's largest mobile networks are offering contract deals on the latest iPad range.
One deal that stands out is from Sky, which is offering the 11-inch Air with Wi-Fi for just £17 per month, with no upfront fee and 128MB of data included. This plan is based on a 36-month contract, with the total cost over three years amounting to £612 - the same tablet from Apple costs £599, but must be paid in full upfront.
