As he headed to the Raven pub, he was probably looking forward to a friendly shandy from landlord Rod Humphris. It didn't quite go to plan.

As he approached the premises, while drinkers watched on, Mr Humphris held up a sheet of paper and started berating the Labour leader about the average age of people who had died in the coronavirus pandemic.
