Gerard Butler heads to a meeting by bicycle in New York City on Monday afternoon (March 9). The 50-year-old actor rode his bike around the city to and from a few errands throughout the day.
It was just announced that Gerard will be returning to Sparta, Greece to be part of a series of events in the historic town, including the Olympic Torch Relay next week.
He’ll carry the torch from the Byzantine town of Mystras to Sparta ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. Gerard will also take part in the 2,500-year anniversary from the battle of Thermopylae.
If you remember, Gerard starred as King Leonidas of Sparta in the movie 300. The Olympic Games were almost cancelled because of the coronavirus.
