Game of Thrones” creator and author George R. R. Martin has revealed in a new blog post that he’ll soon write about “everything that’s gone wrong with” the HBO’s spinoff series “House of the Dragon,” which finished airing its second season earlier this month.
Martin has used his personal blog over the years to give updates on “House of the Dragon” production, his long-delayed “Winds of Winter” book and other thoughts.
But this is the first time his tone has shifted toward HBO’s “House of the Dragon” prequel, which is based on his “Fire & Blood” novel. “I do not look forward to other posts I need to write, about everything that’s gone wrong with HOUSE OF THE DRAGON… but I need to do that too, and I will.
Not today, though. TODAY is Zozobra’s day, when we turn away from gloom,” Martin wrote Friday in a blog post that was about attending the Burning of Zozobra festival in Santa Fe, N.M., and his other summer travels. “It is Santa Fe’s way of devouring the darkness, to clear the way for the light and joy that will hopefully mark the new year.
