Geordie Shore's Sophie Kasaei was left bedbound over cruel comments about her weight

Sophie Kasaei has said that trolling affected her so badly that she was too depressed to even get out of bed. The 31-year-old has revealed that upon joining Geordie Shore, then aged 21, she was hit with nasty comments calling her "fat" and telling her to die.

As a result, she has said that she has struggled with her appearance over the years and that she had been "innocent" before taking part in the show.

She also described the trolls as knocking her "down so f***ing low" and that they had constantly scrutinised her weight. Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I remember at one stage they were constantly talking about my weight and the way I looked.
