General Hospital has taken steps to warn its viewers in the Los Angeles area that today’s episode may be too much to bear in light of the devastating fires.
The Jan. 9 episode features the character of Michael Corinthos caught in a fire. It was actually set to air yesterday but it was pre-empted because of news coverage of President Jimmy Carter lying in state at the U.S.
Capitol. “Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the fires currently raging in Los Angeles County,” the soap posted on Instagram. “In light of current events, today’s episode of General Hospital (and several that follow) may prove too difficult to watch for some.
