Love Island star Gemma Owen has beaten the rest of this year’s contestants in Ianding a huge money deal with a fashion brand, according to reports.
The 19 year old daughter of former footballer Michael Owen was announced as second place runner-up alongside Luca Bish in the Love Island final, losing out to winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu and Davide Sanclimenti.Though Gemma certainly hasn’t lost out when it comes to her opportunities since exiting the villa though, with the reality star becoming the first Islander of the latest series to secure a reported “six-figure” deal with clothing company BooHoo.
Gemma was reported to have celebrated her big business deal at private members club 180 The Strand in London on Friday. OK! has contacted Gemma and BooHoo's representatives for comment.The dressage champion already had her sights set on breaking bank in the clothing industry as she launched her own swimwear brand OG Beachwear prior to entering the villa.
According to a source, plans for the project with BooHoo were also being made before Gemma made the trip to Mallorca. “She had lots of brands keen to sign her,” the source told The Sun.
