Gemma Collins has revealed why she's been silent on her Instagram stories for the last few days as she confessed to being ill.The 40 year old, who recently paid a heartbreaking tribute to her late friend Rhys Alan Smith, took to her Instagram stories to open up to her 2.2million followers on how she's been coping with her mystery sickness.

Sharing a photo of a drip going into her arm, which was secured in place with medical tape, the star explained: "Sorry been quiet guys I have been very poorly but I am feeling like I am back on the mend".

Gemma then took the time to thank her nurse, who has been looking after her, as she shared a snap of Nena dressed in all black wearing blue medical gloves.
