Gemma Collins thanked NHS nurses for looking after her mum Joan, who is being treated for pneumonia. Gemma revealed her mum has been hospitalised, but is now ‘on the mend’ thanks to the help of nurses, despite hospital staff being stretched amid coronavirus.

She shared a picture of her mum Joan’s hand with a drip attached to her Instagram story, along with a message praising staff for the treatment her mum has received.

Gemma wrote: ‘Thank you to all the nurses who helped my mum [she has] pneumonia and on the mend.
