Gemma Collins has revealed that her mother has been rushed to hospital amid the coronavirus outbreak. The reality star shared a snap of her mum, Joan’s hand attached to a drip on her Instagram stories.

She took the opportunity to praise the nurses who were working to make sure her mother got better. She revealed that her mother had not contracted the virus, instead, she was in hospital due to pneumonia.

However, Gemma confirmed that Joan has been at higher risk of contracting an infection as she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis.
