Gemma Atkinson has been seen trying to get into the festive spirit as she prepares for a heartbreaking talk with her daughter.

The Hits Radio host has told how she's trying to plough on as normal despite also preparing for a devastating goodbye. Gemma, 40, was left devastated over the summer following the death of one of her beloved dogs, Norman, and now she is facing the declining health of her second pooch, Ollie.

Then at the end of last week, she shared an emotional post, saying: "Old boy Ollie. Plodding on and making the most of being able to sleep most of the day.

Ollie has a review with the vet soon. His hearing and eye sight has deteriorated a lot, as have his back legs. And most mornings now he wakes needing a wash due to going to the toilet in the night without knowing.
