Larry Lamb has spilled the beans on the future of Gavin and Stacey after its sensational Christmas special last year, and it seems fans should brace themselves for disappointment. The star, known for his role as Mick Shipman, confessed to Mirror that despite initial hopes for more episodes, he's come to accept that the show has reached its conclusion.

During an exclusive chat, Larry reflected, "It's funny because, until we actually finished, I thought, 'We did a special 5 years ago and now we're doing it again.

So, maybe that's what will happen again in 5 years time'. But then gradually, after filming finished, I realised it was the right way for it to end." He elaborated on the emotional wrap-up, saying, "It was a glorious celebration of everything that had gone on all the way through it.

So, there was a lot of emotion and it was sad because you thought, 'Maybe this is the last time we all get together' but there was a joy in it too." Despite the series coming to a close, Larry cherishes the deep connections he's made with his fellow cast members, including James Corden.
