Gary Neville warned Boris Johnson “he’s done” following Conservative defeats in by-elections held in Tiverton & Honiton and Wakefield.
The Tories have suffered major blows last night and this morning, losing the two seats and party co-chair. The Wakefield seat was reclaimed by Labour after they lost it during the 2019 general election with a 12.69 per cent swing.
While the Liberal Democrats won the Tiverton & Honiton seat by more than 6,000 votes - a 29.93 per cent swing from the Tories.
It’s believed Keir Starmer’s party will win a majority at the next general election if they enjoy similar swings nationwide.
