Gary Neville has been left baffled as to why Manchester United star Edinson Cavani has not been trained after his Instagram racist slur.
The Uruguayan is facing a three-game ban after writing “gracias negrito” in a now-deleted post on the social media channel. While he was posting in celebration after scoring the winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Southampton, the word has been deemed by the Football Association to have included discriminatory or racist language.And Neville, who won eight Premier League titles at Old Trafford as well as the 1998/99 treble, is surprised Cavani has not received coaching since arriving over the summer.
