Legendary Hearts man Gary Locke has been awarded a testimonial after two decades of service at Tynecastle. The Jambos will host a series of events to honour the former player, club captain, coach and manager.Locke first joined Hearts at 17 years old and made over 150 appearances for the club, scoring five goals and playing a part in the 1998 Scottish Cup winning side, though he missed the final against Rangers through injury.
He returned as a coach under Jim Jefferies in 2010 and was part of the set-up when Hearts claimed a historic 5-1 Hampden victory over Hibs in 2012 in the same tournament.
