Match of the Day host Gary Lineker and pundit Micah Richards were 'mesmerised' by Manchester City star John Stones' positional sense during the victory over AFC Bournemouth.
The Blues did not have things all their own way on the South Coast as they played their game in hand over Premier League leaders Liverpool on Saturday evening.
However, Phil Foden scored the all-important goal as he turned in a rebound midway through the first half to secure the points.
While the panel admitted Foden had a good game, special praise was reserved for Stones' display. Lineker began the segment with an unusual admission.
