Garth Brooks is happy that there’s a lot less of him for fans to love after a weight loss of 50 lbs. Brooks spoke to Irish journalists ahead of his five-night stint in Dublin’s Croke Park, proudly announcing that he’s now the same weight as he was when he last played the venue back in 1997, when he was 35 years old. “What happened was, weirdly, at the 25th anniversary of Croke Park and Central Park, and I was sitting there looking at it thinking everyone looks the same… what is wrong with your fat a**, here we go,” he joked, as reported by the Irish Mirror.
