Gartcairn boss Willie Kinniburgh admits the club are disappointed to be cut out of the tier six West of Scotland League plans.The conference system was turned down by the SFA as it would not be possible to add all of the teams to their Judicial Protocol.A 20-team top flight at tier six with three teams promoted from the Championship and tier seven conferences below was put through by the new-look set-up.
Cairn have been placed in Conference B and Kinniburgh is keen to challenge for the promotion spot – despite frustration that the original proposal was knocked back.
