Gardener's World icon Carol Klein reveals cancer news after getting 'call from surgeon'
ok.co.ukGardeners' World star Carol Klein has shared a health update after previously revealing her breast cancer diagnosis.The 78 year old gardening expert initially broke the news of her cancer to her followers in early May.
She revealed that she had undergone a double mastectomy and now, while presenting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which saw stars such as Beverly Knight and Ben Shepard attend, for the BBC, Carol has joyfully announced that her cancer has been eradicated.
In an Instagram video, Carol said: "A few weeks I made a post on Instagram and told you all about what had been happening to me.
Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and as a result I had a double mastectomy." She continued: "I also had another small operation the week before Chelsea, but I was able to do Chelsea, I hope successfully.
