Gang member who hid £300k MDMA haul as bath salts ordered to pay just £1

A drugs gang member whose package of MDMA was disguised as bath salts has been ordered to pay back just £1 of their £88,000 profit.The package was captured at an airport and was believed to have a street value of £300,000.

Abigail Kavanagh, 25, from Cardiff, was arrested as part of crackdown by regional organised crime force Tarian into the importation of class A drugs, Wales Online reports.On March 8 last year, Border Force officers at East Midlands Airport intercepted the package which was addressed to the defendant The contents of the package were disguised as bath salts, but further examination revealed it to be 10kg of MDMA.Following her arrest, Kavanagh's phone was examined and was found to contain messages linking her to the supply of spice into prisons across south Wales.
