Gang cloaked in black launch brutal attack on man as police appeal for information

Officers in Ayrshire are appealing for information following a serious assault in Irvine last night.A 35-year-old man was assaulted, by a gang of five or six young men dressed in black, at the junction of Livingston Terrance and Beaton Terrace at around 8.15pm on Thursday, November 3.The victim was later treated at Crosshouse Hospital for a serious injury.The attackers are believed to be aged between 18 and 25.

Officers are keen to speak to them.
