A teenager made a shocking confession on a controversial reality game show – then tragically, two months later, her boyfriend murdered her.

Ruth Thalia Sayas Sanchez, who was the first contestant on the Peruvian version of The Moment of Truth, won £3,000 after answering a series of difficult questions. The concept of the TV game involved asking a total of 21 probing questions in six levels.
