‘Game of Thrones’ could be getting an MMO game
nme.comGame of Thrones massively multiplayer online (MMO) game is in development and it’s set in the frigid North, featuring iconic locations such as Winterfell and The Wall.As reported by The Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence, (via Eurogamer) Nexon, which published The Finals and Kartrider, is behind a new Game of Thrones MMO.
The report states that the game will be set in the North sometime between the show’s fourth and fifth seasons, so spoilers ahead.Roose Bolton is Warden of the North, and Jon and Sam are still up at The Wall.
Players will be able to meet these iconic characters, but, unfortunately, the original cast won’t be returning for voice acting.
RI claims this game will have a new voice cast.It is also reported that players can choose between controlling two characters, and whichever one isn’t picked will still appear in the online story somehow.
