Piers Morgan has declared war on his latest enemy - and no, it's not Meghan Markle. It's IKEA. Yes, that yellow and blue purveyor of flat pack finery beloved by millions of bargain enthusiasts across the globe.

But it isn't its furniture - or the struggle to assemble it - that has the former GMB presenter wound up in a knot. Piers, 56, was left seething with rage after the retailer's Twitter responded to a customer upset over their advertising on new station GB News.

IKEA is one of a number of brands who have pulled out of advertising on the channel within 48 hours of its launch and have claimed that commercials had been aired on the platform without their permission.
