'Funeral babe' mortician reveals what happens to dead bodies before final farewell

The TikTok user, who is known online as “Funeral Babe”, was working as a hairdresser before making a major career change to spend her time styling the dead instead of the living. Being brutally honest in her videos, Melissa assures her fans that there is "nothing glamorous about being a mortician" even though she describes some of her duties as being similar to a spa treatment.

In a video, which has gained more than 100,000 views, Melissa explained: "If you get embalmed, it’s like a spa treatment for your dead body.
