Fundraiser for paddleboarder killed in Dovestone Reservoir tragedy nears £20k

Emergency services were called to the Oldham beauty spot on Sunday (October 20) to reports of a man and a woman in the water.
The woman was rescued, but sadly Mr Daniels' body was not found until Wednesday. Tributes for the much-loved Winsford man have poured in on GoFundMe after Mr Daniels' friends set up the page to support his family.
One woman described him as "an incredible spirit, warm heart, bucketfuls of character and care for all," adding his death was "a huge loss to the whole community."
