A couple have vowed to never visit a popular holiday destination again after being served a "tiny" piece of fish in their chippy tea.
The "shameful" portion measured just four inches, Mike Turner and wife Jane said, but still cost them £15. The pair, who were holidaying in Devon, had just walked six miles and gone to Captain Morgan's cafe in Salcombe for food.
They decided to get one fish supper to share after seeing sandwiches were £8 each, along with two cans juice.But when the waiter served their food, he apologised for the size of the fish, and told the couple they'd been given "extra chips" to compensate for the portion.
The couple said the incident "tarnished" their opinion of Salcombe - and they'll now never visit again, reports the Mirror.Mike, from Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, said: "It wasn't your normal chip shop, it was by a car park.
