Sunny and dry weather is forecast in Greater Manchester today - before downpours hit our region tomorrow. According to Met Office forecasters, sunny and cloudy intervals are expected in our region this morning with wall-to-wall sunshine predicted for much of the afternoon.
It will feel 'fairly warm' as temperatures reach a high of around 21C this afternoon. But cloudier weather is then forecast for tomorrow (Thursday) with some rain expected from around 1pm.

On the overall outlook for the North West for today, Met Office forecasters said: "Any cloud in the far south gradually clearing through the morning, then a fine and mostly sunny day to come across the region. "Feeling fairly warm with light winds.
