The Post Office dropped a bombshell today, confirming that up to 115 branches could be on the chopping block - is your local one in jeopardy?
These branches at risk are the last of the Crown Post Offices, which are directly owned by the Post Office and are typically found in bustling city centres.
However, it's not all doom and gloom, as the Post Office has revealed that these branches might get a new lease of life by partnering with retailers or being taken over by postmasters, so they might not all shut their doors for good.
With a network of 11,500 branches across the UK, most are run by independent postmasters, while others are within chops like WH Smith, Tesco, Morrisons, and the Co-Op.
