A total of eight property sales have been recorded in Firswood, Old Trafford, and Whalley Range during March and April this year, according to the official record published by the Land Registry.
They ranged from a terraced house that sold for £90,000 to a semi detached that went for over £400,000. The average house price in the M16 postcode district covering Firswood, Old Trafford and Whalley Range was £266,401 in the 12 months to March 2024.
That is a decrease of 5.2 per cent compared to the previous 12 months, meaning the average house value went up by £14,472 over the last year.
The number of property sales in the M16 area was also down from 304 in the year to March 2023, falling to just 223 in the last twelve months.
