A much-loved street party is returning to South Manchester this bank holiday weekend for the third time. Party for the People III is being held once more in Withington by the village’s cool art bar Cafe Blah and the vegan ice cream bar Ice Shack.

Bands appearing at the event on Sunday, August 25, include Yossari Baby and YAANG. There will be food, drink, vinyl DJs and pop-up stalls, with the event running from 1pm to 9pm - it’s free but a suggested donation of £5 is welcome.

The cafe sits on the corner of Wilmslow Road and Davenport Avenue, making it the perfect spot for a road closure and a dance in the street.

The event has been a fixture since 2022, with local bands and performers joining the Blah team to make it a fun day out for anyone who wants a dance.
