Freddie Flintoff is making a triumphant return to TV following his terrifying Top Gear accident.The former cricketer, 46, was spotted in high spirits as he promoted the second series of his BBC One cricket documentary, Field of Dreams.The dad-of-four was snapped outside London's posh Charlotte Street Hotel this week.
An eyewitness said of the sports star, who was casually dressed in a grey sweatshirt, black shorts and Crocs: "He looked in great spirits and appeared to be at the hotel with friends who he makes his TV series with", reports the Mirror.They added: "The scars from his Top Gear crash seem to have improved a lot since the accident and it was great to see him with a smile on his face again.
It was like the old Freddie." The sports star was injured during the filming of Top Gear in 2022 at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey.
The BBC apologised to Freddie over the injuries in March 2023 and he reached a settlement with the BBC last year, reportedly worth £9m.The payout was not funded by the TV licence fee, as BBC Studios who makes the show is a commercial arm of the broadcaster.
