justjared.comFred Willard, a beloved actor and comedian, has passed away at the age of 86. The actor was best known for his roles in Everybody Loves Raymond and in Christopher Guest‘s mockumentary movies like Best In Show. Fred‘s daughter Hope told THR that he died on Friday night (May 15).
He died “very peacefully… He kept moving, working and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much! We will miss him forever.” Jamie Lee Curtis, who is married to Christopher Guest, tweeted, “How lucky that we all got to enjoy Fred Willard’s gifts.
He is with his missed Mary now. Thanks for the deep belly laughs Mr. Willard.” We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to Fred‘s loved ones during this time.
