‘Freakier Friday’ Trailer: Jamie Lee Curtis & Lindsay Lohan Return 22 Years Later
deadline.comThey’re back. Twenty-two years after the premiere of Freaky Friday, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan have reunited as mother-daughter, reprising their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman, respectively, in the sequel Freakier Friday.
The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter.
As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
The film also stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon Nisha Ganatra directs, based on the book Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers.
