A frantic search has been launched for a Scots schoolgirl who didn't return home last night.Hollie McKinlay, 14, is missing from her home on Benview in Bannockburn, Stirling, and was last seen at around 8.30am on Monday.
Officers are appealing for information in their efforts to trace Hollie as they liaise with bus companies and the British Transport Police.Hollie is described as white, 5 ft 2 in height, of slim build with long fair hair and blue eyes.
When reported missing she was wearing black leggings, a grey hoodie and black and white Adidas trainers.It's believed Hollie might have travelled to Edinburgh.
Sergeant Ashley Kelly, Police Scotland, said: “Our concern is obviously that Hollie did not return home last night and has not been in touch with her family today.
