Frank Windsor has died this week at the age of 92, his agent has confirmed. He passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday.
The actor was best known for playing Detective Sergeant John Watt in Z-Cars from 1962 to 1965, and also had roles in Casualty and EastEnders.
A statement from Frank's agent said: "It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our much-loved client Frank Windsor at the age of 92. "Frank passed away peacefully at his home in London on Wednesday September 30 2020. "Born Frank W Higgins on July 12 1928, his acting career spanned over 50 years, with notable roles in Z-Cars, Softly Softly, Casualty and Peak Practice. "Frank is survived by his daughter Amanda and his wife Mary, who was by his side until the end.
