Frank Ocean‘s set at the 2023 Coachella Music Festival was cut short due to the curfew and there have been reports about last-minute changes in the production.
Now there is an explanation for what happened. The 35-year-old entertainer reportedly suffered an injury this past week that forced him to change portions of the show at the last minute. Keep reading to find out more… TMZ reports that Frank “suffered a serious ankle injury after being involved in a bike accident on the Coachella grounds.” The injury didn’t happen during rehearsal and instead happened while Frank was riding around the Empire Polo Club grounds on a bike.
It has been reported that Frank‘s set was going to use an ice rink that was specifically built for his show, but the idea was scrapped at the last minute.
100 people were hired to skate around the rink throughout the set, but they were told their jobs were being changed at the last second and they reportedly all became backup dancers.
