The Conservative Party has accepted another multi-million-pound donation from Frank Hester. The businessman, who donated £5million to the Tories, previously was alleged to have said Labour's Diane Abbot "should be shot".
Data from the the Electoral Commission released on Thursday showed the payments came from Mr Hester's software firm, the Phoenix Partnership, in January.
He also forked out £10 million to the Party last year, becoming its biggest donor with a current total of £15 million. In March, it was reported that Mr Hester said Ms Abbott made him want to "hate all black women". Ms Abbott tweeted: “Rishi Sunak belatedly admitted Frank Hester’s remarks that ‘I made him hate all black woman and should be shot’ were racist. “Now it turns out Sunak accepted a further £5 million from him.
