Frank Grillo Creature Action Thriller ‘Werewolves’ Acquired by Signature for U.K. (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comAlex Ritman Signature Entertainment has acquired the U.K. and Irish rights to creature action thriller “Werewolves” from the Solution Entertainment Group.
The feature was produced by Myles Nestel (“Blacklight”) and Craig Chapman (“Honest Thief”), with additional producers including Steven C.
Miller (“Escape Plan 2,” “In the Line of Duty”), Jim Cardwell (“Blacklight”) and James Michael Cummings (“Blacklight”). “Werewolves” was directed by Miller from a script written by Matthew Kennedy (“Inheritance”).
The film stars Frank Grillo (“The Grey”), Katrina Law (“Arrow”), Ilfenesh Hadera (“Billions”) and Lou Diamond Phillips (“Courage Under Fire”). “Werewolves”focuses on the aftermath of a Supermoon event, which triggered a latent gene in every human on the planet, turning everyone who entered the moonlight into a werewolf for that one night.
