The TV sports personality passed away on Wednesday in a care home at the age of 87.The popular TV star launched BBC’s Breakfast Time in 1983 before becoming one of the highest paid presenters on television.Now friends of the family have confirmed the tragic news of his death.Frank started presenting on Grandstand in 1968 after appearing on Sportsview in 1964, taking over from Peter Dimmock.He later moved on to present Breakfast Time TV in 1983 but he was later sacked by the BBC in 1988 after a drugs and prostitutes scandal was exposed.After leaving the BBC, he went on to present on ITV and Sky TV.In.
