Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United's players were back in training on Tuesday following their first victory of the season over Liverpool on Monday.
The difference between the Reds' performance at Brentford and the one they produced against Jurgen Klopp's side was like night and day.
Jadon Sancho gave United the lead with a cool finish before Marcus Rashford doubled the advantage after half-time. Mohamed Salah scored a late goal for Liverpool but it wasn't enough to stop United from picking up their first victory of the campaign.
The victory saw Erik ten Hag's side leapfrog Liverpool and set them up nicely for Saturday's clash with Southampton. ALSO READ: United player ratings vs Liverpool Here's what we spotted as United returned to Carrington on Tuesday.
