More than four in 10 people think the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should be stripped of their royal titles, a poll has revealed.

It comes as the couple celebrate their third wedding anniversary. A YouGov poll carried out on Monday found 44 per cent of 4,567 adults questioned thought the couple should no longer be a duke and duchess.

While 20 per cent believed they should keep their titles but not use them, 17 per cent said they should not lose their titles or stop using them and 20 per cent did not know.
