Foster Gillett was ridiculed as a figure of fun at Liverpool but it hasn’t dampened his enthusiasm to get involved in football again.
The former Anfield director was reported to have been in talks with Derby County last year and in recent weeks has been knocked back by Hearts owner Ann Budge, who has made it clear the Foundation of Hearts will be the next owners.
