Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Former workers at a Glasgow bar have lodged an official bid to reopen it after it closed its doors when employees went on strike.The 13th Note on King Street in Merchant City shut down last July after 21 years of trading following strikes in a bitter row over pay and conditions.Ex-workers have led the campaign to reclaim the venue which they say will "reinstate the cultural and social legacy" of the pub.They said the move would "provide the people of Glasgow with a multi-purpose social and cultural centre that reinvests in the local community."Former owner Jacqueline Fennessy said she was forced to call in liquidators after a "dramatic reduction in revenue" as a result of the involvement of Unite Hospitality.Members of the trade union staged a 48-hour walkout at the venue – thought to be the first Scottish bar strike in more than 20 years.

And they were set to continue the industrial action when owners confirmed closure.Unite took to social media on Thursday to announce the bid had been submitted.It said: "Our members at 13th Note have just lodged their formal bid to take over their former workplace under workers control.

A comprehensive plan to re-establish one of Glasgow’s most iconic music venues for people to eat & drink sustainably sourced produce."The collective released a statement, it said: "We are proud to announce that, close to a year since the closure of the 13th note, we have officially submitted our bid for the lease of 50-60 King Street to City Properties and Glasgow City council."This comes after months of hard work and dedication to draw up a plan that preserves the cultural heritage of the 13th note, while adapting the business model for a future dedicated to community growth, workers' rights and
