One of Strictly Come Dancing's former professional dancers has seemingly pledged her support to Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell after their latest stint in the ballroom.

Comedian Chris, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and professional dancer Dianne received another standing ovation in the iconic ballroom on Saturday night (October 12) for their Salsa to Down Under by Men At Work.

Following their performance, Dianne gushed that she had never been more proud of Chris as she fought back tears. They were then awarded 30 points out of a possible 40 from the judges, matching their Movie Week score the previous weekend where they performed a jive. She said: "Once again thank you @chrismccauslandcomedy for trusting me ! when I said we are going to do the kangaroo jump you didn’t even hesitate [crying laughing emoji].
